Living

with Jim and Gayle

March, 2026

The gate and block wall are finally done.  We started this project in January.  Jim helped with the gate installation as it was clear that the contractor was in over his head.  We are not that happy with the gate.  It was supposed to be solid or at least a "privacy" fence.  You can easily see through it.  We will address that next season.  For now, we are calling it done.

Libby and I went to one of the tennis qualifying days at the Indian Wells BNP Parabas Open Tennis Tournament.  Always enjoyable.

We bought Bo an elevated bed so that he can watch outside.  This way, he can keep track of Jim.

I "cat sat" Carol's cat, Bentley, while they went to Las Vegas for a couple of days.

We went to another small concert at the La Quinta Museum.  It was really windy so the event was moved inside.  We had seats in the back by the door so we were okay.

All of my heart tests came back normal.  My calf muscles still really ache and I tire easily.  However, at this point, I think it just is my new normal since all medical tests have come back okay.

Bo had two seizures this month.  He also had (at least) two seizures last month.  This is too many seizures.  We have increased his phenobarbital dosage to try to better control them.
