Living
with Jim and Gayle
June, 2025
We attended a "No Kings"
rally. It is discouraging that the orange monster and his
handlers and the complicit
Congress continue to destroy America. We continue to do what we
can -- we attend rallies and
call Congressmen. I don't understand how Congress can continue to
support the destruction of America.

My sister and brother-in-law, Lynne and Michael, came for a visit.

Jim is removing some of the decals on the trailer that are in the
poorest condition.

In hopes of making the boat easier to launch, Jim had the boat trailer
axle replaced with a "drop axle" that lowers the trailer closer to the
ground.

Now that the boat sits lower to the ground, the big motor, when the
boat is being trailered, sat too close to the ground. Jim added a
trailering bracket so that the big motor could be stowed in a higher
position.

The spring on the garage door broke. Fortunately, it broke when I
was coming home so the truck was on the outside instead of stuck inside
the garage. Jim had a repair company replace the spring.

I harvested all of my radishes. They were hot/spicy. I
planted some more but they didn't sprout. A squirrel harvested
one of my two cantaloupes. That was maddening.

My garden is looking good.
