Living
with Jim and Gayle
July, 2025
We attended two rallies this month.
One was to demonstrate to our MAGA representative, telling him not to
vote for the "Big Billionaires Bill" (he did, of course).

The second rally was part of a national "Good Trouble" rally,
demonstrating against the current administration's evil.

The replaced air conditioner on the trailer works very well. Jim
is very happy with it.

Jim removed the light colored decals on the trailer (they were the most
faded). He then polished the trailer.

Jim rebuilt the check valve on the tilt trim hydraulic system for the
big boat motor.

Jim had surgery on his right thumb to do a trigger thumb release.
He is recovering quickly.

The day lilies were spectacular this year. During the height of
the bloom, I was dead-heading over 200 blooms a day.

I never could decide on a new pickleball paddle. Instead, I
decided to buy a battery powered hedge trimmer.

I decided to grow my summer squash vertically. I have seen videos
of people doing this, but I have never done it. I decided to do
this after the squash plants were a little big but I really like the
method and plan to do it again next year.

My garden is doing well. I am harvesting all sorts of good
vegetables. I have already made cold cucumber soup and carrot
soup.

I finished several painted rocks.

Bo got his summer haircut.
