Living
with Jim and Gayle
August, 2025
August was a terrible month.
My best friend of 40 plus years, Joan, has been diagnosed with advanced
Stage 4 uterine cancer.
Bo had two seizures in 3 days.
I have not felt well for a couple of months. Not feeling well
really got bad this month. I am undergoing a battery of tests to
try to determine what is wrong.
My garden is somewhat neglected because of how I feel. However,
it is producing quite a selection of vegetables. The bright
orange marigold plants make me smile.

Jim and I canned 3 pints of cowboy candy (sweetened jalapeno peppers)
and 3 pints of cherry tomatoes. We sliced the green peppers into
strips and froze them.

Jim got the stitches out from his thumb surgery. He is happy with
the result.

The battery on our camper trailer exploded. It sprayed the front
of the trailer with red acid which won't wash off.

Bo looking silly on his Dad's lap.
