The driveway entry project is basically completed. Jim ended
up doing a lot of the work, including digging out and smoothing the
area where the concrete went and taking a load of concrete to the
dump. The contractor at least did a good job of pouring and
finishing the concrete.
Jim was able to hire a company to cut the curbing. Our
contractor had messed it up so badly that one company refused to touch
it. The City of Richland was unhappy about how it came out but
opted to approve it rather than escalate the project into needing to
dig up the street.
Jim used plate compactor to compact the sideyard gravel.
Jim made a screen for the front door so that we can open it to get a
cross breeze in the evenings once it cools down.
Bo decided to attack the sprinklers. It's a good thing that it
was hot because he was soaked to the skin. We're not sure if he
was playing or trying to save me from them.
My garden is struggling a bit but I have harvested several zucchini,
yellow squash, cucumbers, and peppers. The beets are almost ready
to be picked.
Sleepy Bo.
