Living

with Jim and Gayle

November, 2020

The most important part of the month is Bo.

We are still working to get his ears to stand up.  When we untape them, they stand up for about an hour before the left one droops.
Bo

He loves to steal the dish towel and run into the bedroom with it.

I knitted him a second sweater.

When he gets a drink, he sticks his whole face under the waterfall.  Makes for wet kisses!

We discovered late harvest Fuji apples.  They are probably some of the best apples that we have ever eaten.  We ended up buying 3 25+ pound boxes of Fujis and 1 25+ pound box of Pink Ladies.  We made a lot of apple butter, a couple of apple cakes, froze some slices, and ate a lot of fresh apples.

We did a lot of projects again this month.  The biggest project was getting the crawlspace insulated.  Although we hired a company to do the insulation, before they came, Jim had to spend two days crawling around under there straightening out problems that he found.

Jim made himself a set of drawers for the garage.  They are already full!

The junk/craft room had a small built-in table.  I tried to use it to paint rocks but it didn't work for me.  Jim made me a craft table (one of these days we'll fix the baseboard).

We decorated for Christmas right after Thanksgiving.  It's the first time that we've had a tree in about 20 years.

CORONAVIRUS is still the dominant force in our lives.  We still miss Max, even with Bo.  We continue to self isolate as much as possible.
