Living in a House and on the Road

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We hit the road this month for our maiden voyage in our new to us motorhome.

The trip started with a lot of stress.  I had to finish work projects and Jim had to get us ready to go.  Then we had to make a lot of miles in order to pick up the chair that belongs in the motorhome.  We had to be in Austin in time for Jim to be in court for his traffic accident that he had last year.  And the stock market was falling.  All in all, a bad way to start trying out a new lifestyle.

We spent Christmas at Jim's Mother's and Sister's in Austin, providing a much needed break and a chance to catch our breath.

By the time we left Austin, heading back west, we were ready to try traveling more.
