Living
with Jim and Gayle
January, 2024
We did a lot of miscellaneous jobs around
the house this month. Just a few...

The mailbox was a disaster (ours was the third one). Why the post
office would even deliver mail to it is beyond me.

Some of the bigger jobs we hired out.
Correcting the installation of the AC and putting window tint on the
front windows.

Reglazing the bathtub and taking down two tall palm trees.

We had a lot of plants and bushes in the backyard that we didn't
want. I advertised them for free, you dig, on Marketplace.
I easily got rid of all of them including the big Mediterranean Palms
that Jim had started to remove by chopping off their fronds..

We made sure to eat ham with blackeyed peas and lima beans and
cornbread on New Years Day for health, wealth and happiness.

My sister and brother-in-law, Lynne and Michael, visited us!
It was a really nice visit.

We went to the Desert International Horse Park. This is
something we had never heard of. It is a massive facility that
hosts 14 weeks of top-level hunter/jumper
competition. All of us enjoyed our time there.

Bo continues to do well. He brings us smiles every day.
