The trip south was uneventful.  We are now settled in our winter home for four months.  We are very comfortable here although I did have to buy a recliner to sit in as the couches were hard on my back.
 


We were here for less than 24 hours when Bo fell into the swimming pool.  Fortunately, we were right there and we were able to quickly rescue him.  However, lesson learned!  Jim bought fencing and Bo is now safely fenced away from the pool.


I flew to Denver for a couple of days to visit my Mom and sister.




I play pickleball several days a week in a park right next to the development we are living in.  I bought a used bicycle so that I can bike there.


One day a week I play at another venue about 30 minutes away, Dumuth Park.


I also bought a used exercise bike so that I can keep up with my exercises.


We are fortunate to have the same person, Phil, looking after our home.  In an effort to make the house look occupied, he's trying feeders in the front yard.  The first try was a bird feeder.  Nothing was attracted.  He's changed the feeder to a combination bird/squirrel feeder in hopes that the neighborhood squirrels will find it.
