The day lilies that we planted on the side of the yard were beautiful.  They put on a show for most of the month.

The road in front of our house has been under construction most of the month.  They are putting in speed humps (worthless as they aren't high enough to slow people down).  They are also putting in street lighting and signage prohibiting parking on our side of the street.

We had some excitement when a young man was arrested outside of our house.  At one point there were 5 police cars and 6 officers.  We don't know what the issue was.

Jim has progressed from doodling in dots to making drawings.  This is a bird that he drew.  Every bit of it was done using only dots.  That's a lot of dots!

Jim changed our security system to a self monitoring system.  With that change he changed our heating and cooling thermostat to a smart unit.  He had to run an additional wire from the furnace and A/C to do that.  He has ordered a new smart door lock, a smart garage door opener, a smart lamp controller, and a smoke detector "listener".

We are enjoying the produce from my garden.  And I am enjoying looking after it.
