In preparing to go fishing, we finally got Bo out in the boat. He wasn't at all afraid. However, our plans to take him boating (maybe not fishing) were put on indefinite hold after several dogs died from drinking water from the Columbia River. Toxic algae is growing in some areas, including an area that we probably would have let Bo in the water.

Fall salmon fishing has started on the Columbia River. We are renting an RV spot close to where we fish. We are staying in the trailer Sunday evening through Thursday morning, returning to the house for the long weekend. We are pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the trailer is.

Fishing is a little slow but we have caught some.
