Living on the Road

with Jim and Gayle

January, 2019

We enjoyed the potluck Christmas dinner at the clubhouse with friends.

Our pergola addition (solid roof and additional wall) is finally complete. It took us about two years to get this approved by the city.  We are happy with the result.

Of course, the work is never really done.  Jim is still working on getting the fans reinstalled and then redoing the fronts of two pedestal posts.  This is slowed down by all of the work he continues to do a a board member for the resort's HOA.

I had planned on hosting a New Year's Eve party, but the weather turned nasty and a lot of people had come down with the nasty cold that seems to go around the resort every year.  Instead, we just had our new neighbors, Roger and Brenda, over for dinner.  The new addition was nice and snug.

I continue to paint rocks.  Finishing them with a coating of resin is still a learning process.  Here are ones in various states of finish.
