Living on the Road

with Jim and Gayle

March, 2018

Jim submitted the Resort's "Specific Plan" to the City this month.  That was a major milestone.  He continues his other work as a member of the Resort's Board of Directors.  This is pretty much keeping him busy fulltime.

For me, March was pretty relaxed.  I played some pickleball, golfed once a week with the Ladies' Group, and played Mahjong.
I painted more rocks.

The big BNP Paribas Open Tennis tournament was this month.  The first two days are free (lower level players are attempting to qualify to play).  I went with two friends for a couple of hours.  It was a lot of fun -- front row seats!  Next year we'll try to spend longer there.

We went to "The Hop Dance Party" at the clubhouse.  A fun night and though we don't dance, the 50's and 60's music was fun to listen to.

We finally finished getting the black rocks for our front landscaping.  When we started this project, I think 3 years ago, we didn't realize how many rocks these two "small" areas would take.  We are very happy with the results.

We ended the month going over to friends, Mike and Janet, for a smoked rib dinner.  Yummy!
