Living on the Road

with Jim and Gayle

April, 2016

Work, work, work, work, work!

Jim has worked constantly on the lot doing various projects.  I have helped where I can (mostly just sanding).  No big accomplishments; just a bunch of time consuming projects.

I flew to Seattle to visit my Mom.  She continues to be very happy in her new home at the retirement center and has made several nice friends.

Jim flew to Jackson, MS to visit his mother, sister and her husband, and niece and her husband.

There is an orchid farm about 2 hours away from us.  With friends, we made the "journey" to see it.  We toured a couple of their greenhouses that were just packed with orchids.  The orchids are raised in Thailand until they are 4 years old and then imported by this company.  At that age, they bloom.  Linda and I both bought an orchid.

I've completed all of my pre-op requirements for my partial knee replacement that is scheduled for May 4.
